Tammi and James first set eyes (yes, we did go there) on each other back in April 2009, at a Pictionary get together. What set James apart from the rest of the lads at this shindig (not a word used enough in everyday spoken language)? He was a lad from Liverpool, and as every Englishman should be, he was (and still is) charming, witty and of course, devilishly handsome!
Don't think he didn't notice the brown little package sitting in the corner of the room! She was all smiles, all laughter and eager to win not only the Pictionary game, but the attention of the British cutie in the room. And that she did.
After their first encounter together, playing Pictionary, Tammi and James spent time together going for walks, listening to the Beatles, chatting on MSN, going on coffee dates, writing novel sized wall posts on facebook, and having hang outs with friends, only to realize that feelings were a-brewing. Of course, it was only logical for them to start dating!
To say the rest was history is a tad bit cliché, but hey- clichés are good, so without any further ado, THE REST WAS HISTORY!
After two years of dating and just over a year of being engaged, Tammi and James are stir fry stoked to say their "I do's" to each other in a Beatles inspired wedding, on September 29th, 2012!
These are some people and companies that we could not be doing our wedding without. This is a MASSIVE thank you and shout out to them!

Keep your eyes OPEN on this section!! We will be updating this section as soon as any extra information comes in!! This section will be for Shower dates, Accommodation details, for our "out of country" guests, and all other things you might need to know!
If you haven't bought a flight yet, you should start looking around about now! It's in this next month (June-July) when prices should dip, before coming back up again.
For flights if you are coming from the UK, you should almost certainly fly with Air Transat, since they are significantly cheaper than the alternatives. Looking at flying to Toronto on the 26th or 28th will cost around £230 and flying back any day after the wedding looks like it will cost around £249.
For flights from outside the UK, a good comparison site is Matrix AirSearch.
Please note, if your invite is for the Dessert Reception, you are more than welcome to come along for the Ceremony and then come back again at 7pm for some dessert and dancing!
The Beatles have been a favourite of Tammi's since high school, and although it took James 19 years and over 3000 miles, from Liverpool, the birth place of The Beatles no less, to finally listen to the Beatles, he has now become yet another Beatles fan boy! So, in the spirit of screaming fan girls from the mid '60s, we have decided on a Beatles inspired wedding!
Below are some of our scrumptious wedding details:
Date: September 29th, 2012
Ceremony: The Navy Hall, Niagara on the Lake, ON, Canada
Reception: The Navy Hall, Niagara on the Lake, ON, Canada
Dress Code: We ask our guests to come to our wedding colourfully (the more colours the better), comfortably and casually, but we ask, please no socks and sandals!
Menu: We are still in the progress of building our menu, but if any one of our guests has an allergy concern, please let us know and shoot us over an email.
First off, we want to be very honest and open, and say how we feel, as we invite each and every single guest out of love and thanks for seeing the both of us through in our relationship to such a beautiful and important time in our lives. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Now for the part we honestly dread, we are not registered anywhere! No matter how many Google searches we have looked up, there are hundreds of faux pas telling the next bride and groom what not to say when it comes down to wedding gifts and what they should and should not be registering and asking for. We are stoked to spend our wedding day with our family and friends, and we both feel the need to say, a wedding gift is not necessary. However, if you do wish to give us a gift, we believe that it would be more beneficial and practical for us to receive a monetary donation (no matter how small or large) as our wedding gift.
